2D workbench
Drawings: outlines you measure, size and send to a cutter. DXF and SVG open here, and so does a PNG or JPEG you want traced.
Inspect and prepare a DXF drawing
View layers, snap measurements, set units and resize supported 2D geometry before exporting.
3D workbench
Models: meshes and CAD solids you inspect, repair, resize and export.
Edit an STL model
Measure, rotate, mirror, extract a part or preview a capped plane cut, then verify your export.
Turn artwork into an STL
Extrude SVG outlines or a PNG silhouette at a physical size, with optional backing.
Locate mesh defects
Select open boundaries, inconsistent winding, non-manifold edges, and degenerate triangles on the model.
Preview a limited STL repair
Compare a supported repair, apply it explicitly, undo it, and verify the exported geometry.
Set units and size
Assign an interpretation, convert physical units, or resize with proportions locked.
Tune STEP tessellation
Compare mesh previews at real kernel settings before exporting STL or 3MF.

Keep your source file when you need to revisit the original design. A mesh inspection does not check wall thickness, self-intersections, or manufacturing suitability. Browse the format reference for the properties each file type can represent.
