glTF viewer
Open a .gltf file and see it, with its size, triangle count and mesh checks. glTF stores no unit, so the size assumes metres. It renders in this tab.
Your file never leaves your browser. STEP, IGES and BREP fetch the OpenCASCADE kernel (2.3 MB over the wire); 3DM fetches rhino3dm (2.5 MB before compression); every mesh and scene format fetches neither. Nothing downloads until you pick a file.what we bundle ↗

At this needs roughly here. Whether it fits depends on the geometry, not the size: a large CAD assembly can open, while a much smaller STEP exported from a mesh can run out of memory. If it does, this page says so, and the file never leaves your computer either way.

Why a glTF file opens with no model
A .gltf file can describe a scene while keeping its vertex data in a separate .bin file. Selecting the JSON file alone does not give this viewer access to that companion file.
Check the warning for an external buffer reference. Ask for a GLB with the geometry embedded, or a glTF export with embedded buffers, then try again. Renaming .gltf to .glb does not package the missing data.
This viewer displays geometry and base colours. It does not display image textures or play animation. Missing textures in this preview do not prove the asset is damaged. See the glTF file guide for packaging details.
